Safety:

High international standards have to be fulfilled when it comes to the manufacturing of safety and working shoes. We offer basic and premium solutions for safety shoe manufacturers. All soles are able to pass EN testing norms and are supported by our dedicated team of safety shoe technical experts. With our PU systems, you are always on the safe side for producing footwear that complies with the highest safety guidelines. Our products are Elastollan® (TPU) Elastopan® (PU) and Infinergy® (E-TPU).

Casual:

Durability, lightness, freedom of design are key factors for casual shoemaker and casual solemaker to be competitive. Compared to other materials our Elastopan® (PU) and Elastollan® (TPU) have clear advantages: better long-term flexibility, better tear strength, better resistance to puncture, better hydrolysis-resistance, better flexibility over broad temperature scales and greater design flexibility.

Boots:

The new BASF PU system for boots shows improved leg’s flowability, excellent bonding between leg and sole, and remarkable resistance against fungal and bacteria attack. Thanks to the special features of the Elastopan® PU systems, the properties of lightness, durability and thermal insulation typical of polyurethane are enhanced. In addition, the behavior of the new PU polyester-based systems for boots towards the cold is very significant. Hardness does not increase in a relevant way even at very low temperatures.
